Friday Studio's Perth elopement

Maddi and John were supposed to get married in Canada this year however as many other couples around the world- plans had to change. These guys married, socially distanced, at Friday Studio’s in North Perth, all their closest family on were Skype and their friends met them in the street afterwards for a champagne toast and then to top off a perfect day, they picnicked at Mullaloo Bach right afterwards with burgers and chips, a perfectly casual way to celebrate their love and union.

New York Elopement | I+J

As this beautiful couple, all the way from Perth stood at the top of the Observation building overlooking New York city the fog was so thick we could barely see our own hands, we couldn’t see the city however this meant there wasn’t another person in sight. But would you believe it, right as Indigo and Geoff said ‘I do’ the heavens opened and the fog cleared allowing for the most incredible view. What a beautiful experience, witnessing these lovers say I do in one of the most wonderful cities in the world!

Top things to do in New York.

It took me a 30 hour plane trip from Perth to get to the big apple- New york and it was so worth it! I had two days to sight see before I shot a beautiful couples elopement and then it was time to fly home- so what did I do?

Walk the streets in the Upper East side. This is the stuff of movies- mansions with door mans and chandeliers and beautiful iconic New York streets.

Brooklyn Bridge- Go before 6am and you will have the bridge all to yourself. Anytime after 9 and the tourists come out and its almost impossible to get a fab photo without a lot of people in the background.

New York Public Library- A stunning building right in the centre of the city on 5th avenue.

Visit Dumbo- A little suburb lined with cool cafe’s right on the river with Manhattan as a backdrop. Again, go early in the morning if you’d like street photos without 100 tourists in the background all taking selfies.

Catch a Taxi.

Dont leave this city without jumping into an iconic yellow taxi.

Top of the Rock- for the best view of the city.

Find some $1 New York Pizza! This is not a joke, $1!

Walk through Central park! I had no idea it was so lush and beautiful.
